(PIX11) -- Noah Cordle, the 10-year-old boy who found an ancient artifact on a New Jersey beach, tells us about his discovery.
Noah first thought it was a crab that hit his foot. After looking at what he then thought was a mussel shell, he gave it to his dad to inspect.
Noah's dad knew the discovery was an arrowhead, but had no idea of the significance.
The Springfield, Virginia family contacted the Archaeological Society of New Jersey to check it out.
The family says they plan to donate it to a museum.
